Anatomy Abstract is what comes to mind.....

I have chosen to look at the anatomy for my drawing studies, with a twist as I love playing with shapes and color and form.  So far I have drawn a sketch in fine liner of the skull of the skeleton in the studio, I have drawn two sketches of images from my anatomy book.

Here are my sketches......
The front of a Knee without the cap.
I found this image inspiring, I think I can incorporate this into an abstract drawing.
Below is an enlarged fully grown bone, showing the microscopic cells and tissues.

I have made copies of my sketches so I can work into them with a range of different drawing materials, to see how I can abstract them.  I found this one above interesting as it could become many things, like strange building or world, factory or machine of some kind.  No matter how I go about it each viewer will perceive it  differently, that's what I love about abstracting things.
Above is the sketch of the College skeleton I done in studio time, fine liner.
I enjoyed scribbling it done on the page loosely.  The more I built up on it the more it became detail and came together.
